Cancellation Policy
We will send you a Google Calendar invitation to confirm your trip details. The invitation will include information such as launch location, time, date, total number of guests, amount paid, amount due, goals for the trip, etc. Please review this information and reach out if you have any questions. Check in with the captain a few days before your trip to make sure nothing has changed. $100 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your trip. Balance is due at the conclusion of your trip. (cash is preferred, electronic payments available) When you pick a date, please be positive it works for your group. Trips will only be rescheduled if the captain deems the water or weather conditions to be too hazardous. When you reserve a date, you block other guests from booking that date/time and we must charge the full trip amount whether you show up or not. We will run the trip rain or shine so please dress according to the weather. Fish may be kept as long as state regulations are not exceeded. At the captain’s discretion, larger fish may be tossed back to protect the breeding genes in the body of water. Guests are responsible for any equipment they lose or damage while on the trip. We take great care of our equipment and ask that you do the same. Our boat has a license that covers all guests on board, therefore a fishing license is not required. Children 13 and younger must wear a life jacket at all times while on the boat. Space disappears quickly on a boat so we recommend bringing only what is necessary. We recommend: rain gear, warm weather clothes, sunglasses, sea sickness medicine, food, snacks, beverages, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, and a phone to take photos of your catch! Goober Time Guide Service provides professional grade tackle and gear. If you wish to bring your own gear, please contact Captain Dan, prior to your trip, to discuss. Fishing is not an exact science and does not come without risk. There are hazards involved with fishing. There are moving waves, rocking boats, fish hooks, leads, doors that open and shut and obviously there are fish that can bite you, fin you, poke you, poop on you or have scales that can slice you. We do all we can to protect you, but your participation is VOLUNTARY and assume all risks involved. When you book a trip with us, it is implied that you understand the risks involved.
