Thanks to Joshua, Dylan, Clifton, Chris, Conrad, and Wesley for joining us on the James River. Bait was tough throughout the day but we put what we found to good use landing some high quality bite catfish.

The stats from the day:

🐟 25 lb & 20 lb Shallow Water Brawlers
🐟 19, 5, and 27 lb bridge piling fish
🐟 Handful of eater size fish

What a day on the James River! 🌊 Curtis brought Kevin, Drew, Walter, and Jace out to celebrate his birthday, and they definitely went home with some stories to tell.

We started the morning deep on the ledges but quickly realized the shallow water bite was ON. Once we deployed the planer boards over the mud flats, it was game over. We watched personal bests fall one by one, culminating in a massive 54.3 lb trophy blue cat that almost broke off on the motor!

Huge shoutout to Curtis for handling that big girl like a champ. 🏆
