James River

The James River offers diverse fishing opportunity. We primarily run trophy catfish trips anywhere from Richmond, VA to Williamsburg, VA. Above the city of Richmond, we target flathead catifsh, blue catfish, and smallmouth bass. We use a whitewater raft or kayaks to target areas with low fishing pressure. Alternatively, we run trips targetting striped bass, white perch, hickory shad, and crappie based on the season.

We run catfish, crappie, striper, and white perch trips on the river side, with some of our largest catfish of the year coming out of the chickahominy.
