We had Steve, Drew, Christian, Matthew, Landon, and Keegan on the boat for a night trip. We started the trip off by fishing some deep pockets for catfish. While we’re waiting for the sun to go down, we caught our first fish of the night a small blue catfish.

A little while later, another fish came in the boat about the same size.

We moved to a new stretch of river and didn’t have much luck, but we didn’t spend much time before the sun was finally setting.
As soon as the sun went down, it was game on before. We had our first striper in the boat before darkness set in.

Shortly after that, a blue catfish hooked up on a piece of eel.
The sun finally set and the fishing was on fire. It was really cool to see the boys triple up on a group of striped bass.

Pretty early in the evening, we caught one of our nicer striper trip.

That was followed by another nice double up.

Everybody got a chance to catch some striper and we are having a real good time.

We had one catfish rod acting funny and when we reeled it in we found a nice gar on the other end of the line.

The white perch eventually moved in and we were able to fill the cooler with them catching them two or three at a time.

We ended the evening catching 163 fish for a new record.

Thanks for joining us on the water. We hope you had as good of a time as we did.
