8 Hour Trophy Catfishing Charter
8 Hour Trophy Catfishing Charter | James River | Goober Time Guide Service
Service Description
Join Goober Time Guide Service for an immersive 8-hour adventure on the world-famous James River. This is our most popular option for guests looking to catch a trophy catfish, providing the necessary time and flexibility to truly hunt the river’s giants. This trip is ideal for anglers looking to spend a complete day on the water, whether you are chasing the adrenaline of a massive trophy fish or trying to fill a cooler with delicious "eater" size catfish. Because this duration offers the best of both worlds, guests often choose to split their time between both styles of fishing—spending part of the day targeting heavy-hitters and the rest ensuring they have plenty of fillets to take home. Whether you are looking for a new personal best or high-action "eater" fishing, Captain Dan provides the expert guidance and professional gear needed to get the job done. Is This Trip Right For You? This 8-hour charter is the premier recommendation for a true trophy Blue Catfish hunt. Finding and landing a river monster takes patience and time to locate active fish as they shift patterns throughout the day. While we often land impressive fish on shorter trips, these "river monsters" can be challenging to pattern. With a full day of fishing, we have the freedom to explore multiple spots and adapt to the river's conditions without feeling rushed as we wait on the big bite. If you are serious about searching for the trophy fish of a lifetime, we strongly recommend this 8-hour trip to maximize your chances and enjoy the full James River experience. We have options for 10 and 12 hour trips if you’re looking for an even bigger adventure. What’s Included All Gear Provided: Professional-grade rods, reels, tackle, and fresh bait.
