Thank you Ryan and Braidyn for joining us all the way from Colorado. We stayed in the fish the entire trip, catching upwards of 20 blue catfish. Highlights of the trip were a double up in a downpour, a 28 lb blue catfish that tied Ryan’s personal best and working Braidyn’s personal best all the way up to 35lbs! Great work out there guys! Can’t wait for great next trip.

We celebrated @ezra19.4 birthday on the river by chasing fish for a few hours. We started with striper. The pattern was a little different than recent trips but once we dialed it in, we caught about a dozen fish over the course of 2 hours.

We transitioned to catfishing at nightfall and caught a pile of blue catfish including a trophy fish at 32lbs! Great work and happy birthday!

Tim won our raffle and brought his daughter out for a night trip. We lost track of how many catfish we caught. With spawn kicking in, the largest two fish were in the 15 lb range and full of eggs.

Johnathan joined us for his first ever trip on the James. His first James River blue catfish was a bruiser at 28.5lbs. We caught a bunch of small fish throughout the day and ended the trip with a nice flathead. Water temperatures are holding steady above 70 and it’s safe to say the spawn is on.

We had Kinta, Mara, Xavier, and Elijah out for a trip on the James. We caught fish on every anchor and drift but it took some time to find some quality fish willing to bite. We had multiple fish in the 15-20 lb range with the highlight of the trip being a 21lb flathead. Thanks for joining us on the water. Can’t wait for the next one!

We had Tina, Lisa, Renee, and Brad out for a morning trip to memorialize their late father, an avid fisherman. We caught a bunch of fish, the highlight being when we caught 4 fish at once, 3 blue catfish and a striped bass. Big fish of the trip were multiple in the 15-20lb range, a 29.5 and a 31lb catfish. While the big catfish are in spawn we will be giving them a break. We will still provide services for eater fish, crappie, striper, white perch, and flathead catfish in a different stretch of river. These trips can be on the boat, kayak, or whitewater ready. Let’s go catch some fish!
